A Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) unit sits in your loft and gently pushes a continuous stream of fresh, filtered air into the home through a ceiling diffuser — usually above the landing. That gentle positive pressure pushes stale, moisture-laden air out through natural leakage points and trickle vents, keeping humidity down around the clock.

Unlike an extractor fan that only runs in one room when you switch it on, a PIV unit treats the whole house, all day, every day — which is why it's one of the most effective single fixes for stubborn condensation and black mould.

The unit mounts in the loft, the diffuser is cut into the landing ceiling below, and we wire it to a fused spur from a suitable circuit. Most installations take around half a day, with no redecoration needed beyond the neat circular diffuser grille.
